If this is your first time as a Norfolk Open Studios visitor, here are a few hints and tips to help you get the most from this celebration of the county's visual arts.
What is Norfolk Open Studios?
Managed by Norfolk & Norwich Festival in partnership with Norfolk's artists, Norfolk Open Studios is one of the largest and most successful schemes of its kind in the UK. From 21 May until 5 June, more than 340 artists across the county will be opening up their studios to anyone who is interested to see their work and to find out more about their creative process. Much of the work on display will be for sale and many artists will be happy to accept commissions, so you may find you come home from your Open Studios visit as the proud owner of a new piece of art for your living room!
This website contains details of all the artists taking part in Norfolk Open Studios this year. Each artist is listed alphabetically within a geographical district of the county. Just select which artists you'd like to visit, check when they're open and then make your visit. There's no need to book in advance unless you are a large group and there's no admission charge for a studio visit. Enjoy your Norfolk Open Studios experience, and please let us know how you get on by completing our visitor survey here.
